Edward Hudec
My name is Edward Hudec, and I’m a filmmaker and camera professional with a passion for storytelling and visual craftsmanship. I graduated with a 2:1 in Film Production from the University of the Arts, Farnham, and since then, I’ve worked on high-profile television productions, such as The Crown, as a Camera Trainee.
In addition to my work on large-scale productions, I’ve contributed to BBC South’s Technical Operations team, where I operated cameras for live BBC news broadcasts—an invaluable experience that honed my ability to deliver under pressure and in real-time.
Beyond television, I’ve worked on various short films, stepping into roles such as Director of Photography, 1st AC, and Camera Trainee, which have given me a deep understanding of the technical and creative aspects of filmmaking. I’ve also ventured into film score composition, collaborating on multiple projects to merge sound and story seamlessly.
I created this website to showcase my work and my evolving journey as a creative professional.
